Guidelines
The European Journal of Molecular Pharmacy (EJMP) is doing a good job by offering practical and clear guidelines that can assist the authors to prepare and submit the manuscripts in a manner that will satisfy the requirements of the journal in terms of clarity, quality and scientific rigor. Such guidelines should ensure that the process of submitting is easy and they should also facilitate the peer review process in a fair and efficient manner. These guidelines will make your work pass easily through editorial evaluation and peer review.
Manuscript Preparation
Manuscripts must be written in clear and academic English and must be organized logically. Applications must consist of the following:
Title Page:
- Manuscript title
- Full names of authors
- Associations and contact information.
- Relevant author details.
Abstract:
A brief synopsis (usually 150 or 250 words) which outlines the purpose, major methodology, findings and summarizes the key findings.
Keywords:
3-6 keywords which represent the most significant issues of the research.
Main Text:
Organised in such a manner as to introduce the research in a clear way as:
- Introduction
- Materials and Methods
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusion References:
Cite all the works in a logical and constant manner.
Formatting Requirements
- The submission of manuscripts is limited to Microsoft Word (.doc or.docx ).
- Standard fonts (e.g. Times New Roman) and readable font size (e.g. 12 pt).
- Insert figures and tables with good quality and include them in the text or as different files with proper captions.
- Define all terms of abbreviations and units used.
Ethical Standards
The authors should follow the same ethical standards in conducting research and publication, such as:
- Appropriate referencing and evading plagiarism.
- Reporting conflicts of interest.
- Ethical treatment of the research subjects (where applicable).
- Adherence to the applicable regulations.
Manuscripts are not supposed to be submitted to two or more journals at the same time.
Submission Process
The manuscripts should be submitted to the online submission system of the journal. At submission, make sure that:
- The information about the author is full and correct.
- Text, figures, additional materials are uploaded.
- A letter of covering or author statement is to be added where necessary.
Peer Review
Peer-review is done to submitted manuscripts as it tries to examine its scientific merit, relevance and clarity. Depending on the comments made by the reviewers, authors can be requested to rewrite their work.
After Acceptance
After acceptance, the copyediting and formatting of the manuscripts are done before they are published. Before the final version is released, the authors can be requested to check the proofs.
