Aim and Scope

Facilitating the development of the high-quality research, the European Journal of Molecular Pharmacy (EJMP) is located on the border between molecular science and pharmaceutical innovation. The journal will be interested in work that will advance the awareness of molecular processes, aid in drug discovery and design, and be part of more effective therapeutic solutions.

EJMP is open to research that can be extended to any type of research that can transform fundamental molecular understanding into viable contributions to pharmaceutical science either by laboratory studies, computational studies, or other types of experimental or translational studies. There is intensive focus on the research that contributes to scientific value, and facilitates innovation, as well as can influence future therapies.

Research Areas of Interest

The journal takes into account original research and substantial review papers in the fields like (but not limited to):

  • Molecular pharmacology and drug mechanisms - drug interaction at a molecular level.
  • Drug design and medicinal chemistry - structure-activity relationships and computing methods.
  • Drug delivery systems- Formulation, targeting, nano-technologies, and Biopharmaceutics.
  • Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics - absorption, distribution, metabolism, and response optimization.
  • Biotechnology and pharmaceutical innovation - biological and technological development of the therapeutic design.
  • Translational research- The interface between basic molecular findings and clinical or preclinical understanding.

What We Value

EJMP emphasizes research that:

  • Presents new knowledge and innovations in the field of molecular pharmacy.
  • Combines the rigor of science with its practicality.
  • It is well written, well-methodological, and ethical.
  • Adds both to scholarly understanding and to practice in the field of therapy.

Whether it is a new drug molecule being investigated, drug delivery mechanisms, or clinical outcomes and molecular findings being correlated, EJMP has a place to present research that advances pharmaceutical science
