Plagiarism and AI Policy

The European Journal of Molecular Pharmacy (EJMP) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, originality, and ethical publishing.

All submitted manuscripts are screened using recognized plagiarism detection tools, including iThenticate (Turnitin), prior to and during the peer-review process. Manuscripts must demonstrate a similarity index of 15% or below, excluding references and properly cited content. Submissions exceeding this limit may be rejected or returned for revision.

Plagiarism in any form—including direct copying, improper paraphrasing, self-plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, and image manipulation—is strictly prohibited. Authors are expected to ensure proper citation and acknowledgment of all sources and to maintain transparency in the use of previously published materials.

EJMP also monitors the use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in manuscript preparation. Limited use of AI tools is permitted only for language editing and must be clearly disclosed within the manuscript. The AI-generated content must not exceed 5%, and such tools must not be used to generate scientific data, results, or interpretations. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of their work.

Any manuscript found to violate plagiarism or AI usage policies at any stage may be rejected or withdrawn. In cases of post-publication misconduct, the journal may take appropriate actions, including corrections, expressions of concern, or retraction of the article.

EJMP adheres to internationally recognized publication ethics and follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), ensuring transparency, accountability, and responsible research practices.
